Best exhaust system setup
Hello,
Not sure what exhaust parts to order from scooby world as I don't really know what they are going to sound like. I'm curious to what everyone else has and looking for advice. Wanting quiet enough for neighbours but also make a good sound when cruising. It's an 02 wrx.
Thanks for looking.

Thanks for the advice everyone,
I was looking at cobra sport centre pipe with resonator/silencer and cobra back box with 3inch tail pipe.
Sounds a bit stupid but would it be alright to fit a new centre pipe and backbox now and then remap a few weeks later, could this affect the car in anyway ?
I dont know to much about these things but better to be safe than sorry.
Cheers.

I'm running the same set up as Tidgy but with the track day set up which sounds fab. There's a clip on YouTube.
You could start off by just replacing your centre section with a straight through pipe, you'll get one secondhand for less than £50. This is a cheap way to increase the volume of the lower tones, especially if you don't want to go to loud. You can always then shop around for a secondhand back box if you want to turn up the volume some more.

This was the one that I have been looking at as I already have a decat 3 inch cobra system, I take it if I leave my downpipe on and replace centre pipe that would be ok ?
I would of thought that the fittings are all the same, any know ?
Thanks.

Would a resonator help to make it a bit more quiet ?
How do you find the sports cat, was looking at them for when MOT time comes around as my system is decat. Worth getting do you think ?
