I purchased a "HKS" exhaust of an ebay seller. There was only the one picture and normally I wouldn't of bought it but it was about 3am and the description sounded like he new what he was talking about, I put in an offer and he accepted it.
Before I start a return I would just like to clarify what I already believe, that this is a bog standard cheap as chips exhaust and not a HKS.
There is no branding, anywhere. All the pictures I have seen have branding.
It has a universal clamp and the overall feel is just cheap and shoddy.
Any help would be great

Thought I recognised the sellers name,I think a few members have had bad dealings.
His eBay feedback negative % doesn't look too bad but 10 neg in 12 month isn't great either.
I have had a few dealings with him in the past and promised myself never again. He seems to be a nice guy and willing to do and say anything to keep a good score on ebay, which is why its so high. But he messes up orders constantly!
I have started a return, I didnt want to just send it back because i wasnt happy with it, I wanted to make sure it wasnt a hks and have been scouring the net over the last hour or two looking at picures.

I didnt pay the full asking price he wanted for it. If i had 300 or so i would have a full custom exhaust fitted. I have heard of MIJ, they have a good reputation.
First though i am after a esl, thats what im saving for.
The system you have on it is fine. As you said esl. Then if you do want replacement exhaust try a powerflow. I think mine might have been custom built and sounds nice.
Thats a TSL firestorm back box, magnex centre and not sure on the down pipe, a friend had the back box fitted to a similar system and sounded good it was loud but had a good tone to it.
Lol, I am still waiting for a courier to collect this.
First courier he said would come and collect (TNT) got hacked and couldn't collect. I thought he was lying but apparently they have been https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/tnt.co.uk
The second courier never showed (UPS) but he has promised they will come on monday. Funnily enough I think he has already sold the exhaust as he sent me a label and its going somewhere else up north if i remember correct.
