Should it be blue or red coolant, or is there no difference?
Thanks

I use halfords concentrate pink (oat) ethylene glycol based and dilute with deionised water. This is probably also what their website suggests if you type in the reg.

I've just finished a rebuild with uprated head gaskets, that are nitrile rubber coated and i was particularlly interested in making sure the coolant was safe to use with nitrile rubber, and it is.

Thanks for your replies. It's an 06 Hawkeye so I'll go for the pink stuff. Cheers

The filling method I documented in the thread below has worked a treat several times for me on my Hawk, filling from the turbo feed hose on the top of the header tank.
