Default UK/JDM exhaust question

Just looking in to getting a Nur Spec R for my JDM WRX and pondering between the UK spec version or the JDM spec exhaust.

Its currently fitted with a Prodrive Downpipe/catpipe and Miltek catback but I was going to replace the whole system with the Nur + Decat downpipe.

If I were to go for the JDM Nur Spec R I'm wondering which downpipe i'd need as all of the Downpipes for JDM cars seem to be twin scroll?

correct, DP is different to UK, however I have a full exhaust hand built by Hayward and Scott to the Newage UK standard lengths meaning it is future proofed. Give them a call.

So if the JDM DP is different from UK which DP will i need? can't seem to find non-twinscroll JDM length downpipes.

I'll get in touch with H&S as well

You will need a twin scroll DP, the JDM is longer than the UK DP with a shorter center section which turns out to be the same as a classic center.

Like I said I got my made as per a twin scroll DP but to the same size as the new age UK so now runing a New age UK center and box box to future proof it.

It went for full 3" all the way, wasn't cheep.

What's the reason for wanting a jdm exhaust? Seems like your making it awkward for yourself.

My friend has started dealing with Hayward and Scott and they are great exhausts.

any exhaust garage will weld in piece of pipe in to the centre section to get it fit to your DP, I had a Milltek exhaust from UK spec car with cat in the centre section which I removed and weld in piece of pipe to make it longer to fit to my TS DP.

Even thinking about import taxes/delivery it seems cheaper to pick up a JDM Exhaust over the same Exhaust over here.

Or as above the difference is 100mm that would need cut and welded in.
