Default 1998 JDM STI compatible clutch master cylinder

Hello, I have a 1998 V4 STI import. I changed the slave cylinder, and tried to bleed the system, but failed (pedal stuck to the floor after depressing it). I wondered if the pedal position might need adjusting. Looking at the pedal the rod from the master cylinder that connects to it was messed up. The brass bit was badly bent, and was sliding up and down the rod as the centre threaded part of it had sheared off. [Sorry not very clear but hard to explain.]
I took the master out but can't salvage it without replacing the rod piece and the brass bit at the end. [Happy to buy them!]
Can anyone tell me which later master cylinders, if any, are fully compatible and the hard line will bolt right up? I don't want to buy a secondhand part from 1998ish if a nice newish part from a late model car will work well.
Also Import car parts website (where I got the slave part) is not working well today. If I remember their master was a lot more money than the slave.
Thanks for any advice. Tom

Default Bump plus summary

Do any later model clutch master cylinders fit a 1998 import, Version 4 STI?
Thanks
