Default Brand new long engine or forge old one

Even with rebuilding old one the cams,valves etc etc will still be old and used,, what would you do

We find that cam and valve wear is pretty negligible with Imprezas, and invariably there is no reason they can't be re used. There may be better alternatives power wise of course, if appropriate.

Rebuild then you can have it the way you want it , arp bolts cosworth hg , if you buy a new one for example from Subaru depending if it's a 2 or 2.5 you could have the chocolate piston issue

Thanks for the reply's, the engine is out a JDM MY98 WRX and a 2.0 , I can get a brand new long engine for 3k.
