Backward step for improvement?
So today I started the backward step to OEM to see if it improves my running.
My Hawk not been mapped and to me has never run 100% smooth. The previous owner had had a Japspeed in wing 'Cold air' intake fitted.
Quick call to Matt and I have a complete OEM intake and snorkel on its way, into which I will put a Cosworth panel filter.
My guess it will improve the running with a proper AF mixture that the MAF can deal with.
I will get back to you on the results, non scientific of course

I'm amazed tbh , you been on here a few years & post frequent ...
Only today you realise you may have a running issue involving a cai
On a stock car with no scaling or tweaking involved to compensate your AF
I swear this site gets stranger by the day lol
