had a quick look at those ones and they have garrett cores so might not be all that bad. but id want to hear from someone who is using one to get some info. probably wont be a subaru specific fitting turbo either so might require fettling or rotating to fit.

They actually look decent. Each one comes with vsr balance report, correct oil restrictor, 1 year warranty and most importantly made in Taiwan not China. If I needed a new turbo I would be giving them a go

Hmmmmmmm (strokes chin). So it could actually be a good deal for a decent bit of kit?

i did say ebay ones are cack. id read of a few using kinugawa with good results and not blowing to pieces unless youve heard otherwise? these ones use garrett cores so maybe ok but as i said id be hoping to hear from someone who is running one to get some info.

every 6 months or so someone on here buys one, tries it, sacks it off and buys something else. Given turbo's are only as good as the standard they are made too cheap copy's can just never compete

Kinugawa are distributers of genuine turbos, they just put there logos on like many others do such as turbo Dynamics, Aet, turbo technics etc. The cores and housings they use are genuine.

Got a gtx35 Garrett core BB on my 2.35 that is been built. Looks a decent bit of kit. Specced out by MB Developments. Should be running in the next week or two to have a true reflection of what they are like.

Maybe not if it was mapped conservatively on a standard engine or possibly stock ECU. 76mm billet wheel should do nearly 600 with meth..... On paper

Standard subaru flange will never perform the same as a dedicated rotated exhaust housing
