Mine gave up the ghost over Xmas - cell no.5 knackered lol

RAC sold me their RAC006 OEM replacement. Got a 5-yr warranty (most have 3). Has top-of-the-tree amp-hours and cranking amps, apparently.

Body is semi-translucent white with a light(ish) blue top. I think it's a VARTA jobbie (sold under licence by the RAC).

I have a new Bosch one I had to buy to start car that I'm selling for £50 collected.
(I have a micra battery but had to get terminal converters hence having to buy another battery at short notice)

Busta, will it fit the Classic's battery tray/clamp & terminals? Is it all black casing?

Where are you in the country?

Not sure about colour, can't remember. But I'm going to garage on Friday to swap battery's over.
It all fits tray etc, but I'd say it's a bit short in height for the clamps to screw it down, the threads on clamp rods stop quarter of way so still a gap at top of battery. I've just shoved a silicone intake pipe to cushion it for now. I'm guessing if you have a battery top cover that should sort it or simlar.
I'm in Wakefield/Huddersfield. The battery is at garage hu152rp and I'm going to nec Birmingham Saturday morning via m1 and m42 if that on route to meet.

You just need terminal converters from pencil post to normal post.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Battery-Yu...DpU7#vi-ilComp

This is where mine came from.
It says free delivery if you buy 2+. I rang, paid online and got free delivery two days later.

Halfords want £100 for the same battery.

YUOSA is 15.7kg with acid, (many quote without).

It has CCA of 550A and a 5 year guarantee.
As I said, Halfords want £100 for them

As mentioned a heavy battery means more lead and better battery. Halfords is a dear hole go elsewhere.
