Default Turbo with 34mm restrictor

What are people running? I have an sc36. So a tdo5 variant, but have the opportunity to change (melted engine!) and was half thinking a td04 given rev limits and want a less flash turbo as will be running als so will prob kill a few

VF34 is far superior to the 35 and TD range IMO........

VF24 was always a popular choice of turbo for the Grp N cars, quick spool with the P18 exhaust housing.

Well the car is nearly done, and went for a 34- bob is going to map the new engine for als and launch control and then go!

Question- did you run dump valves or no?

Forget the VF series mate...they are prone to failure and have a weak spot which is by the wastegate (prone to cracking) ...I've seen enough of them let go! Get yourself a decent TD series Turbo mate they will give you good power and response if its mapped good.
