Default Choices on turbos

Hi,
I have a classic 98 sti with a version 8 short engine RCM's oil pump etc 800cc Denso's manifold front mount it's got a Esl ecu which was mapped last year by Paul blamiere it got 360bhp and 330 torque, on a td05 25g, not looking for crazy bhp I'm after reliability and quick spool what would you people recommend?

Thanks olly

At that bhp it's running just over 1 bar so it's really laggy, need something more drivable (faster spooling). Not looking for huge bhp and a six speed is next!

Believe the VF35 is what you want. Not owned one myself but heard good things about them. Faster spool up over TD05.

After doing some reading up on here looks like bang for buck the td05 20g with the billet internals seems the best way to go, just don't want to make the same mistake as the kinugawa unit I previously installed makes power in all the wrong places and the actuator won't hold more than 1.2 bar!!

SC38, ported headers, 'Harvey Smith' up-pipe, ... then you'll be torque-ing!

Should see 380+ too.

Alot of people on here recommend not buying td05 20g as will knacker your gear box. Have no first hand knowledge of that turbo, thats just whats been past on to me. Think i started a thread on it a while back.
