Hi guys, ive been doing some research but cant really find the answers i need.
im going to be running a md321t turbo on my 2004 type uk sti. I have the following -

md321t turbo
3" cobra decat full system
fuel pump
800cc injectors
headers

I now just need the intake hose, induction kit and 3 port boost solenoid.

1. After looking around it seems most intakes (k&n) only support 350bhp, can anyone tell me which one would be best for this set up?

2. I take it a samco hose will do the job?

3. I believe a classic impreza boost solenoid will do the job but where can i get one as i dont want to go on ebay and order the wrong thing. Also times against me so need these asap.

personal choice would be wing mounted induction kit and perrin inlet pipe.

thanks for the advice, which induction kit would that be? i can only find the k&n apollo and thats rated to 350-380 from what i have been told

Thanks for the advice. What i have got is -

perrin long ram intake and sock
perrin 4 bar map sensor
3 port boost solenoid from scoobyworx
samco turbo hose from scoobyworx

need a front mount as well, also maybe time to upgrade the ecu

cant get hold of map sensor till tuesday. do i need a map sensor as i assume i wont be running more than the standard map sensor limit of i believe 1.65 bar?

I thought the std airbox and a panel filter was quite adequate? what is the limit of that?

Stock airbox and uprated panel filter is good for just over 400bhp in my experience.

Having made just over 400bhp with stock parts as above, is there any noticable power increase to be had (after a remap) by changing to a good induction kit with no other mods?

ive gone and got the intake now
I was also told that the standard map sensor should be fine

I have the stock airbox and a panel filter at 353bhp, im looking at another 20-30hp next year, so that confirms my thoughts, keep it on

Standard air box with a good panel filter is fine for a little over 400bhp.

Can't say I've done one to try without also swapping to a front mount at the same time, big gains to be had there obviously
