Its been banned from many forms of motorsport as its inflammable, & leaves an oily residue on track when spilt, did cause cooling issues on one of my Essex V6 race engines when first fitted with it, with no prior issues to report we removed it & the cooling was restored, my opinion, over priced rubbish.

Wow, first saw it on first gear, I liked the idea as it said as there's no water in it, it doesn't expand. Doesn't sound to good then.

Everything expands when heated.

Personally I can't see the point. Water has one of higher specific heat capacities, so holds FAR more heat energy than many other liquids.

Why change? I don't get the benefits, if any?

as above plain water is about as good as it gets from a pure cooling point of view albeit we need some form of additive to stop corrosion/freezing.............

have seen far too many previously fine systems develop temperature problems after being run on "waterless" products to find them anything but a disaster in competition/higher performance use

just to add if you want the 'best' then we carry specific coolant on the shelf at very competitive costs.......

The stuff from the heavens is probably best, the stuff from the tap less so. If you live in a hard water area like we have in Essex, limescale could be an issue even with antifreeze.
I use deionised water or premium premixed coolant like Motul bought from AS performance.

Yea i buy deionised water, although i don't live in a hard water area. Although my mate has a kit to deionise water, need to get some off him.
