Default If you dont know what colour coolant you got...

Then what one do you chose?

I think all the coolant in the car is pretty much water, without emptying the coolant I wont be able to tell what colour coolant i got. So, what one do I go for? Its a classic v5 STi

Colour doesn't matter, it's what's in it.

it's almost certainly glycol based, ask a reputable motor factor for some suitable for an alloy engine.

And for heaven's sake, do a search on here for how to refill, or drain/refill without airlocking, or your next post will be, "How do I get rid of this airlock?", or "Has this knackered my head gaskets?"

Search under my name, and coolant.

Cheers dude,

Im looking at replacing it with this

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3113461630...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

From what I read on here ^

I gather I will need 7.7 litres?

Also, know about the method of doing a coolant change so will look at getting it done by the likes of FB tuning etc
