Default Coolant check?

Hi all,

I recently purchased a new age blob wrx, could somebody tell me where the levels are supposed to be for the coolant?

Is this correct?

When cold

Reservoir by the turbo full to bottom of the filler neck?

Expansion tank half up the tank (full mark)

Radiator full?

I have a receipt from previous owner to say that the coolant was completely changed couple months ago but I just want to make sure levels are ok.

If I need to top up what coolant could I use as I'm unsure what was put in by the garage last time?

Thanks in advance

Correct.

You may see a slight rise in the coolant level in the expansion bottle behind the rad when the engine is hot. This should drop back down when the engine is cold

Thanks for the reply.

If I need to top up do you know what coolant would be best as I'm not sure what was used when it was flushed a couple of months ago?

Thanks

Shouldn't need to top it up really but if you do just use a little water. When you have it changed get it done properly and evacuate as much as possible and start again with a quality coolant like Motul Inugel Optimal
