Default any problems in fitting a wrx engine in my type r

Hi all, can anyone tell me if it would cause any problems if fitted a wrx engine in my type r whilst I get my engine full rebuilt? That's presuming it's compatible? Engines are both v4's so is it just a straight swap?

Type r is a very aggressive mapped car hence why they tend to go pop over here on our watered down fuel so doubt a wrx engine will last too long unless you ran actutor pressure.

Looks like it will be parked up for the winter then, unless I get my finger out and rebuild the engine rather sharpish
