Default Weird starting fault

1998 TYPE RA STI

Never done this fault from cold
ONLY when left for a couple hours after a run
Go to start car and it takes maybe 3 secs of cranking before it will start no missing / poor running just cranks too long

Change ECU coolant temp sender still does the fault

Only thing thats been done to the car since ive had it is alarm / immob fitted, speedo convertor fitted

Any pointers greatly appreciated

You are keeping your right foot clear of the throttle on cranking, aren't you?

Even a slight touch causes over-fuelling and poor starting.
