thinking of getting a CAI before I get the blob sti mapped, just wondering which to choose and any pics would be great

If you're not going above 400bhp, drop in panel filter and you're good to go

im not going that high banny, its going in to be mapped on Saturday it was more the noise I was after if anything

No personal experience of this but generally K&N stuff seems to work quite well, not cheap tho

no none of the decent ones are cheap,i was recommended a perrin one by scoobyclinic which was over 200

Not sure,but i would have look on Cosworth they're making one or as you suggested Perrin which are pretty popular.

Second option,RCM or Mishimoto which have few options

I wouldn't touch K&N typhoon series or their short ram,i've only bad experience with Typhoon

I've got the Perrin one which makes a good noise. With standard recirc dump valve it chatters quite nice.

im leaning towards the perrin, but I cant get hold of one and my cars booked in on Saturday for remapping
