Horrible whine from pass side of engine bay
So my 03 GX Sport has developed a nasty whine coming from the passenger side of the engine bay, as per the video below
Does anyone know what it is/could be? It's not oil as there's plenty of it.
The annoying thing is I had a full service less than a month ago, and it start on Friday as I got close to work.

Its easy enough. Adjacent to the alternator youll see a long bolt . This attaches to the tensioning mechanism thats part of the alternator bracket. Just below that bolt is another little bolt, think its 10mm or 12mm. Slacken, but DONT remove this bolt and then turn the top bolt anti clockwise , which should slacken the belt enough t remove. Do the test as regards nise, and replace the belt . Dont tighten too much . If you can, check out on You tube. Some good how tos on there

Well, after limping home on Friday, keeping revs as low as possible, and then posting on Sunday, I drove into work today.
There was a bit of whine this morning when I started. Leaving slowly and calmly, I kept revs low. However, within half a mile I'm up to a 60 limit so headed up to 50. Within a few minutes all sign of the whine had gone. For the whole 15 odd miles after that, not a peep. When I got to work and was parking, there was no sign of it. When I went back this evening and for the whole journey home, there was no noise at all.
My friend at work did make a passing comment and I'm starting to believe him. Could it have been something flicked up from the road that got caught between the belt and a pulley, which was rubbing and causing the whine? It has since got dislodged and the car is now quiet.
