Default IC Spray issue.

On the last trackday I noticed that my IC spray was rather lacking in actually spraying, it was more like a drip. I took the first few pipes off that are closest to the IC and gave them a good blow out but it hasn't resolved the issue.

Any techniques for checking the full system from the tank forwards? I don't have an airline which I thought might be worth a go. The pump seems to be working from what I can see also.

Any tips??

Default IC Spray issue.

Take the nozzle out and see if you can blow through it. Had to do mine recently as it was blocked from calcium deposits. I'll be using distilled water from now on...

Nozzle from the pump?

I've taken the spray end of the nozzle off and seems clear.

Ah OK, yeah I was referring to the spray end. Have you tried triggering the manual spray function with the nozzle off to see if water comes through?

No I haven't, but have taken the nozzle off and activated the spray and water does come through but just a no real pressure. Will give the pump a look, or maybe it's clogged up further along?

So checked the pump today and all is well with it. Checked the pipe work from the pump to where it goes through the car and that's fine. The pipe work in the engine bay is also clear, so annoyingly that leads me to think the jam is somewhere in the middle.

Just a thought, a reel of strimmer line from b&q thick enough to push through to clear a blockage?

Might have something there, although it is pretty flexible stuff..no harm trying. I'm sure it beats replacing the blocked part for ease of access.
