Default SC38 turbo question?

Hi guys, recenty bought a modded 2006 (Blob) Type UK DCCD, I was lead to believe it had a SC38 turbo, the housing of the Turbo says Blouch? Do SC use a blouch housing with their internals or have I simply not got a SC38 and have a Blouch instead? If I haven't got what was advertised I will be asking questions. AL.

So all SC38s will have Blouch cast into the housing yes? I had no reason to doubt the seller as everything else checks out fine.

Unfortunately no paperwork on the turbo but was remapped by Bob Rawl 386bhp @ 1.4 bar with printout, decat, RCM wrapped headers, exhaust, RCM induction filter, wahlbro 255 pump, Certainly goes very well.

Even the bigger SC turbos are Blouch, like my SC46 billet. I'm sure no tuning specialists in the UK actually manufacture their own turbos, although they probably have them made to their own spec.

sc46 isn't that big in the grand scheme, theres various gt30/gt35 etc that are billet, although they may not have an SC designation thinking about it.

I believe the SC46 is the largest of the Blouch 'bolt on' SC designated turbos, the bigger turbos are Garrett and require a rotated set up.
