TD05 20G compressor surge?
Running at 20g on my ej205, mapping has been going well upto .7 bar boost. Now that I have turned the boost upto 1.0 bar I think I'm experiencing surge.
Not 100% convinced though.
Car will come on boost by 3100, then start to pull, around 4-5000 it will jerk and hold back, then clear and pull cleanly to redline.
AFR good, timing good.
Can't hear an surge, but a do have std airbox.
What's everyone's thoughts?

Running a 24mm internal wastegate, I have a homemade manual boost controller on just now.
Fixed one of the problems, ignition setting, not the dwell but the spark time, increased it to 2.0 MS, seems to have completely stopped the "comming and going" through the revs.
However I can make it surge at 1.0 bar boost circa 3500 rpm...
Defiantly surging!
Not planning on keeping this turbo on for much longer anyway as I have something a bit special for it, I'll see if I can map some more boost up the revs a bit so I can at least run the 1/4 mile with this turbo
