Starting subaru leaving stand 1 to 2 weeks
Hello,
Due to the nature of my job (digger driver) I work away and my blobeye wrx turbo is left standing for minimum of a week but can be upto 2/3 weeks. Someone said to me I should remove the crank sensor and turn the car over first to force the oil to to lubricate before actually starting? Question is should I do this and how long for also is this required if the cars just sat only a week? Any suggestions would be great or any tips with regards the car standing 1 week or 2/3
Thanks

Have you not got a trustworthy mate or a neighbour who you can leave the spare key with and get them to start the car and let it run once or twice a week or even take it for a spin once a week!?!

The Internet paranoia has got to you, the car will be fine just starting as normal. You get instant pressure when starting the car. Have a think about this, over 4 weeks these cars and allot like them sit on ships on their way over from Japan without being started up and they are fine, your car included!

I trust them.... It's the devil inside them I don't trust 😈
I appreciate they sit on the ship etc, just imagined they take it as its kind of a very rare for the car to be stood 2/3 weeks regular.
Ive never had a problem with my cars was just double checking as I know the scoobies are high maintainance so just wanted to gain other people's thoughts
Thanks guys
