It will change tone as the carbon builds up. Should get a bit deeper/bassier. Don't think it will increase in volume as such.

Yes it will get louder, as has been said carbon build up. Plus exhausts do need bedding in.

Don't worry I've had loads of new systems, first one I had was full jap style system, sounded quiter than original exhaust, took bout a month and got louder and louder until, got complaints, so changed it ;-)

Mine was quite raspy at first and now very deep sounding.

my vortex was second hand but in very good nick when I got it. Quite raspy and insanely loud, once it got a few heat cycles and and some miles put on it's settled down a bit.

It's still got decent volume but it doesn't have the tinny edge to it.

cheers for replies

to be honest it sounds amazing, id highly recommend Hayward and scott

thing is when you are in the car you don't realize how good it sounds, I got my wife to rev the car while I was outside asnd I was like wow, ddidnt realize what it sounded like

I am getting a 100 fast flow cat fitted, that should make it slightly louder, gonna post a video of how it is now and after for those considering Hayward and scott nut id def highly recommend them over all other makes, and very hady they are 5 miles away from me
