Hi, In need of some direction, MY93 wrx wont have any of it.
Initially had a head gasket problem so removed engine, stripped and rebuilt put the engine in and now it just turns over, no attempt to fire or start, double checked everything timings all good but what ive found is little or no spark, changed colpacks, plugs, and no different, weak spark on no.1, no spark on no. 2 weak spark on 3, no spark on 4.
got no voltage to no.2 plug when turning over, changed ecu and still the same, where can i look next any help gratefully accepted.

Cam sensor p;ugged in , crank sensor plugged in?earths all fitted and clean ?

Earth lead missing off the Inlet Manifold ??

Timing 180 degres out?

Hopefully you will have installed the cams in the correct sides eg Left hand inlet to the passenger side top, Left hand exhaust to the passenger side bottom etc etc.

Sounds silly but have come across it several times on Version 2 to 4 engines.
