tyres saturday what does everybody suggest
iv had Bridgestone reo70's on for a bit awsome grip but they jut turn to dust lol
considering pilot sport 3 any thoughts or other suggestions cheers chaps

Ive been researching tyres as I'll be needing a set soon, Michelin Pilot Sport 2 has the lowest noise & best wet grip rating from what I can find & in 225/40*18 the 92 y rating is the best option I can find £464 Inc vat for all 4 fitted & balanced, new valves etc.
Pirelli P Zero & Bridgestone RE 050 have the same wet grip but are 1or2db noisier but are around £40-50 cheaper for all 4.
Michelin are always slightly more expensive but in my experience they tend to do more miles & perform better making them better value

I have always been a Pirelli fan but the pzero nero's that came on my WRX never felt great to me. Swapped to goodyear eagle f1 asymmetric 2 on a recommendation from on here and it has transformed that car. Running 225/40/18 btw

yep, work and back every day. GY F1 were great in the snow and better in the wet than the Nero's IMO.
Tyres are a bit of a personal preference like most things in life.

I currently run Vredestein Sessantas and will buy them again. I had Vreddy Ultrac Centos before and they were good. Vreddies run at high pressures 38/36psi and don't roll. Wet grip is amazing. They last long, too.
I've had all sorts before but Sessantas give me the confidence I require.

I'm now looking for the same size of tyre for my recently acquired Speedline Turini's.
Always been a Goodyear fan but are the Vreddy Sessanta's and Nankang NS-2R's that much better?

Have a read through mrnoisys thread I posted. It looks like there's a few people who've converted from Goodyear to ns2rs and are very happy with them

Can get a set of NS-2R's for £392 without fitting, so not too bad. The only thing I dislike about the Good years is the soft side walls. I have read similar issues with the Sessantas.

Sidewalks on the ns2r's are meant to be stiff. All seem to be xl load rating that I've seen. Got a set on there way from tyre leader to go on my new rota wheels. 225 45 17, just over £280 delivered

How the hell do they do it so cheap? I've heard of some garages not fitting tyres not sold direct by them. Although Tyre Leader recommended my local centre that I usually use.
And what do you mean by 'if they turn up'?

I've read that the customer service can be poor if you have issues with your tyres arriving. Cheaper than everybody I could find.
I've got access to a tyre fitting machine luckily, so I always go mail order.

Ordered Sessantas from my local tyre centre that I have used for 10 years.
£355 fitted which I didn't think was too bad.
Also going to check my tracking for free as well.

First had Re070's and they were hard and tramlined quite a bit. Really Good dry grip poor wet grip.
Then I moved to Goodyear eagle f1 asymmetrical 2 and loved the comfort and wet grip. But dry handling was way to soft and woolly for my liking.
I'm now on Yokohama AD08r and they have amazing dry grip, don't tramline, ride better than re070s and just a gripy in the wet as the Goodyears.
But in greasy conditions they brake away if really pushed but it's nice and progressive.
I've also hit standing water a few times now and they coped fine.
