Default Andy forrest hybrid td04

Anyone used one of these? I like the idea of the 300-320 bhp with far quicker spool than the vf series of turbos.

My mate had a td04 with a 19t wheel on a Volvo S40 turbo and being a hybrid it was very quick.

Martyn Jeffreys of Engine Tuner said on another thread that they to them, sent him a PM but he's not got back to me as yet with a price, so I don't know how much they are, maybe give them a call as I'm sure he's probably pretty busy.

That's a good price for what is essentially a new turbo.

Why not try a vf28? You get a few of those kicking about.

What power can these make and would it be quicker spool than a vf35?

I only know from researching vf turbos for my own motor, unfortunately I’ve not tried the vf28, but I understand it to be a relatively quick spooling turbo good for 320bhp. You’d be best ringing up someone like Race Dynamics / Scooby Clinic / your local Subaru mapper expert.
