If its a version 3-4, then they do suffer from piston slap and from your video,it sounds like piston slap from cold.
The piston to bore clearance from the factory wasn't particularly good on the phase 1.5 engines and evident from piston skirt scuffing especially on No.2+4 cylinders.

ah ok I thought as much but being a novice scooby owner I thought idd check with the experts. Like I said it virtually disappears once warm and I've tried to blow the car up but to no avail so far! I owned a few early fireblades and they suffered with the same problem though Honda always denied it lol. Only problem is I don't keep cars very long as I get bored fairly quickly and this noise could make the car difficult to sell lol
