I've recent had a perrin 3 port boost solenoid fitted and mapped.

It started clicking out of the blue. So I bought new as thought old was broke.

New one clicks.
It's very loud. As it never done it before I'm a bit concerned.

Drove for months with no issue and suddenly clicks. Also now cars pops and bangs a bit. Never used to.

Any ideas.

Cars a 2.0 sti uk 04.

they all click, you won't hear it as much if you mount it using the rubber bushes from the standard 2port. If it's bolted direct to the chassis you'll hear the clicking more. what way have you it fitted up?

Originally just tucked away when mapper installed it. With out it moving it suddenly became loud in cabin. So I've mounted it correctly using brackets.

Il add a rubber Bush to it. See if that helps.

Consistent click every rev or gear change . Every time I accelerate. It's annoying.

As said before, they all click but shouldn't be really obvious unless you've got the bonnet open and are revving the engine a bit. Must be the lack of rubber bushing.

If your under bonnet revving you can't hear it. Only when In car.

Got me thinking it's echoing through inner wing.

Il relocated and test.
