My exploits on the original V6 5 speed are well known. I really pushed my luck running in excess of 550bhp and 520lbft through it for some time before it finally threw in the towel.
In my experience you'll be hard pushed to beat the stock Hawkeye 5 speed for reliability as I know of a fair few of those running decent torque without issue.

Ty754 P1 box 18k miles at 440bhp/ 380ftlb. Still working flawlessly when it cameoff.
Usage- I'm not interested in drag strip stuff or hard launches - more fast B road / track use.

6000+ on the road as well as a full season competing in the pro street drag series at Shakespeare County Raceway. Following the end of that season it broke the 3rd 4th gear cluster. Replaced that part for £200 and did another season on the same box.
On the ratio of runs to breakages it was better than the PPG I replaced it with before going 6 speed.
