I am struggling with a very random issue where I'm getting Cylinder 1 misfire randomly however it doesn't always show any errors. When driving I find my car sort of spits under boost like hitting the rev limiter. I've replaced coils and sparks worked perfect for a week or so once sparks was cleaned up. Advice needed please thanks

What was the condition of the old spark plugs - any oil fouling or signs of running lean ?
Would be worthwhile doing a compression test to check the 'internal health' of the engine before chasing an external intermittent fault.
