Default classic electric window problem

hi guys the passenger front window dosent operate from the control switch, however it does from the drivers control switches.

any ideas where i could start first?

check the window child lock button on the drivers door first

After that, remove the passenger side switch and replace with a known working one.

ye child lock removed, did check that.

ah ok great reply, ill try and source another switch then.

Had the same problem with the missis Wagon -faulty switch on the N/S door card.

hi guys changed the switch after. still no joy.

window works from drivers side switch panel.

can hear something trying to work - is there a relay in the motor that could of gone??

cheers for any help.

If the window works from the drivers side control switch, you can rule out a faulty motor, wiring etc.
Remove the n/s door card and check the wiring between the switch and motor.

As above, must be wiring related now, IF the new switch was known working????

ok cheers guys. yeah ive just pm'd the seller, i dont doubt the guy at all but still needed to ask him.
