Default Which injectors for 400-450hp?

As title please, what size injectors will I need for 400-450hp max. I'd probably want it capable for 380-400hp for now but will be able to cope with 450.
Will be for v3 sti heads.
Is 650cc the way to go? And is it cheaper getting some standard subaru ones flowed by lateral etc?

So I'm thinking on the right lines then. Just wanted opinions on what was the route.
Idea on prices?

I know I've had a few bits I don't actually need yet, but it would be rude not to.
Always keeping my eyes peeled for bargains.

I'm not after hard to find parts.
I could order FIC injectors from the states but what's the point in wasting money on a doable part.

Can't be arsed, I'm rubbish at it, always forget to take photos (rather just get job done) and not that informative with with project thread posts.

If I get enough grief to do one then I may or may not

Thanks, but I was just doing some research for now, I need to get the engine sorted first which won't be till next month due to funds.
Unless their uber cheap to a FC old timer bish bash bosh, then would be hard to refuse.

P.s can't I just flow the crappy 440's that are in the classics?

If you're on side feed injectors you will be lucky to find some 650cc injectors, if you're on top feed injectors some modded wrx injectors will do the job. Modded ph2 side feed injectors flow around 900cc's fyi

We only use Deatschwerks for sidefeed injectors as we aren't big fans of these MODIFIED injectors. In my experience you get a much sweeter idle from them even on my lumpy cams.
I'd go for 850s to give you room to breath should you push it further later.

Hi there

Speak with Zen performance I think they're selling injectors for all applications what I know

I wouldn't use FIC injectors, they're not the best if you are comparing them to ID,if its budget then I would convert from sidefeed to top feed injectors,on longer run this will worth it

And about the best injectors,ID are best, have used them on Subaru and now we are using them on K20 without the issue

Reflowed injectors depends,I know we have issue with them, but I still think this is down to the map, friend running them on his car and they're fine and car idles just great too

Thanks,Jura

Thanks Jura, good info there, I'll probably go down this route as injectors will be a easier choice when top feed.

Will do, as it happens, I asked if all newage coils are same wether it's off a WRX or sti. Are they both same? Even from a forester xt as isn't that a WRX engine too?

Not sure there, but I think you can't use 2.5L coilpacks on the 2.0L heads and WRX vs STI coilpacks I think they looks like same, but I'm sure someone with better knowledge will help you with this, sorry

Thanks,Jura
