Got an intermittent fault with my v4 sti and looking to see if anyone has had a similar problem, here goes:
Last week I was on a dual carriageway, got to 2kish rpm and car missfired but drove through it, few mins later missfired again but this time engine cut out, clutch was up but wouldnt restart, dipped the clutch and engine fired, finished off the 80mile trip with no more problems and been fine since, today I parked the car up for 30mins, came back to it and tried starting, engine fired but instantly cut out, giving it throttle made no differance, just cut out as soon as it fired, kept trying and eventually it started and ran fine again, when this happens there is no check light, and always sorts its self before I get a chance to investigate, my power fc commander showing no weird signals, its also not the ecu as it did it on stock ecu also,
running power fc so no stored codes,
tripple checked everything under the bonnet, and nothing stands out
Not got a clue where to start
any help or advice welcome
