New Car.... Need a couple of bits of help.
Hey Up,
I have just swapped my Volvo T5 for a Blobeye Subaru Impreza WRX remapped to about 320bhp. It has some gauges fitted but the oil pressure and the oil temperature isn't working. The plumbing is there but there is something missing which I am guessing is the actual sensor. Now does it have to be the same manufacturer as the gauge for the sensor to work with?
Also I have an oil cooler which I will need to install. Is there any location which I can fit one or is it just wherever you would like to fit it. Any pics would be good.
I think the rear shocks might need replacing as there seems to a a noticeable 'drop' at the back sometimes
The other thing is I seem to have a squeaky boot/spoiler.
Any tips lol.

Yes sensors need to be for the specific gauges.
Most people fit cooler behind passenger side fog cover on the sti blob but if you have a wrx it should have fog lights so possibly they need removing and replacing with covers, alternatively if you have no front mounted intercooler they can go in the bottom air cut out in the bumper.
Rear shocks always knock on impreza, replacement is only cure.
Is the spoiler a genuine item?? If not it may explain the squeak

I thought as much with the rear shocks. I will get some replacements soon. I don't 'think' the boot spoiler is a genuine item but it looks better than the standard wrx lol.
Cheerz for the help matey I will find out what gauges I have and buy the correct part.
