Default weird battery problem

hey people, been having starting issues with my impreza wrx 03. it started ever since i left interior lights on and drained battery flat. i have a turbo timer that is measuring the alternator at 14 so that seems to be fine but the battery is slowely loesing charge, i know this because the timer also measures the battery when the ignition is just turned. anyway what im confused at is, ive been driving it fine today then after parked for an hour i go out and the timer is showing the battery as 9v and the car didnt start, so i went back inside the house then tried it again after 10 mins and it started, struggled but started. this seems strange because i would of thought if it didnt have enough to start the first time how come it started the 2nd time after 10 mins?

Sounds like battery fault. Is it a sealed battery? If not then check the water level in the cels and top up if required.
