Default Help please regarding injector fitting ??

Ive just received a set of used pe 650 injectors for my v8 sti from a member on here. The injectors have come with only one o-ring at the very top of the injector.

After looking at various web pictures i see many pictures with three or four o-rings and some including a rubber cap at the bottom. Mine dosnt seem to have any other recess for o-rings to go in ??

So my question is will i need to purchase new o-rings or will i be able to use the o-rings from my pink injectors ?? I have emailed the seller for info but
im fitting them at the weekend for mapping on monday so i would be grateful for your input.

Cheers

The seller has informed me that is how they are supplied and thats how he had them fitted, i dont understand how the will make a seal into the manifold if there is no rubber there ??? or is it a case of the bottom seals may already have been left in the manifold ??

just tying to get all the info i need as dont want to get caught out when i come to fit them else i will have to cancel my mapping session..

You need the seals on the bottom of the injector.
Ask for the correct seals to be supplied or get a refund bud

I would have thought you could use the ones from your pinks, I don't recall my PE 650's being supplied with the bottom rings when new but if you have concerns it might be worth speaking to Mark at Lateral for advice or parts.
I bought the 800's from the same seller and still awaiting delivery

Yeh think i will give mark a call see if he can clarify for me, the seller said they are exactly as he removed them so im guessing the bottom seals are still in his manifold.
I received mine on friday mate but missed the post man so collected yesterday, might be worth e-mailing him to see if he posted at the same time.

they appear to have been lost by his engine builder so unless they are found by the end of the day he's going to refund me, TBH I don't feel that disappointed.

Hope you get it sorted mate

Ive spoken to mark at lateral and he dosnt seem to think that mine are proper subaru fitment as he said on pe650's they should have an o-ring recess half way down the body like the ones in the picture i posted. Ive emailed the seller again to try and get more info as im getting nervous now to say the least. Im just hoping they are the correct injectors just maybe a different brand ???

To me it looks like you just need to add the O rings?

The ones from your pinks will fit, they look exactly the same as a set I fitted for one of the local lads, his had no O rings either but we just used the ones from the pinks, just make sure you don't catch them when putting them in and cause them to split.

The big ones at the bottom may come out with the old injectors or they may stay sat in the manifold.
