Default Handling!?!?

Hi,

For some reason when I reach 70 mph and above my steering wheel starts shaking and the car feels unstable so I have the Geometry checked and had the wheels balanced but still no better

I have BC coilovers on the car. Thanks

have you tried the rear wheels on the front to see if the shake goes away ?
as said 99% of the time its wheel balancing.

Hi there

First thing what I would look is balancing the wheels, what wheels are you running ?

And second thing I would check if wheels are not buckled, but I would say balancing this will sort, happens to us too same, above 60mph steering started to shake and we are get re-balance wheels and everything has been sorted

Thanks,Jura

Check the wheels aren't missing spigot rings if they have them fitted, check the tyres, age is important as they can deteriorate inside and affect the balancing on the car. Check bearings, driveshafts and CV joints... all of these will in some way send vibrations through your steering if damaged or worn. Other thing to check is the rack itself.

When did it start ?
