I have just noticed that the mph dial on my version 5 sti impreza is not working the rpm and other two are but just not the mph. Also the odometer display is on but the miles on it aren't increasing either. What could the fault be on this?

speedo sensor has died. you might find the car will go into limpmode after a few miles when the ecu detects the fault.

its located in the gearbox and is an easy fix. check for fault codes and it should pop up.

Yeah ill get it checked out and see what mechanics say. Its weird drove it in morning and it was working then switched car off and on again later and it wasnt working. Then drove it again later and it was working. Seems to work sometimes but then at other times it doesnt
