Default please help me identify this turbo

exhaust side: Mitsu 78-10820 070
intake side : without any stamps









IHI VF39 vs "???"




This turbocharger has been removed from the damaged 2.0 WRX from UK and would like to install it in my forged STI 2.5. Thank you for any suggestions.

TD05 of some variety by the looks of it

i think TD05 is smaller...
look at comparison with stock VF39

looks too big for a td05 as said. looks like it could be a 20g or one of the scoobyclinic variety maybe a sc38 or sc40? it has twin blades as well which would suggest one of these modified type turbos and not a standard one. someone clever will be along soon and tell you what it is.

Looks like an SC series turbo to me.

comp wheel 53mm / 68mm

So its 36 38 or 40 ?

Kev from Scoobie Clinic said that is old SC40. What you think about this turbo ? Full boost at how much RPM on 2.5 STI with FMIC ??
