hi all ive just finished off putting the engine in my track car it will idle but wont rev up also sounds like its blowing air back thru the air filter ive plumbed up the vac pipes correctly and its made it better but still wont rev no fault codes on the car could this be to do with the throttle position sensor as I removed it to powder coat the manifold or does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this

When putting the sensor back in did you make sure that its spring loaded ,, ie you have to put it in on a angle then spin it till its lined up which puts load on the spring

This is what I had to do with my newage anyway so might be worth a try

I have done the above still no good any ideas I've reset the ecu now it's flashing 4 5 switched the boost solenoid still the same any ideas
