Default Sat Nav Install Help!! wheres these wires?

Installing A Clarion Sat NAv to my head unit.

where to i find these wires?

Speed Sensor?
Handbrake?
Reverse Gear?

On most units the handbrake wire ends up just being grounded so display and options can be used on the move - best to check av forums or google for specifics as to if this will work with your unit


Speed sensor i didnt bother connecting up as it just helps the nav when in tunnels etc and no gps signal so not strictly a necessity

Reverse - i ran a wire from reverse lights to the headunit

Right i Put the reverse cable onto the Reverse Bulb +.

However I'm unsure about the parking break?

is it top left or bottom right of the photo?

On mine 05 blob im fairly sure the speed sensor is one of the two wires with odd plug on unused behind stereo although as i say i didnt get as far to make sure as no need

A guess on parking brake would be one of the two on bottom right but honestly just connect that wire off the nav unit to earth at the stereo is what everyone does

Contacted Clarion and the speed sensor wire must be connected for it to operate?

Where can i find this cable?

It comes from the ECU. (which is under a plate in the passenger footwell)

Have you looked at the links I posted ?? or did I waste my time

I did have a look Dom, But it went right over my head, newbie to all this wiring stuff.

However i managed, Vampired clipped it behind the speedo to the correct cable and it works!!
