Default My99 STI noise ? Help ?

My Sti has started making this noise ? It's a forged build by pro r .

It sounds like it's coming from the drivers side head :/?? Anyone have any ideas what this noise is ?

Link doesn't work bud. Being a forged build, is it maybe piston slap? A gentle knocking that goes once the engine warms up etc?

I don't think so as the noise is still there when hot

Does sound like a little knock but every bottom end that I have heard sounds a lot worse and progressively louder when you rev yours seems to be doing it only on very slight rpm your better waiting for a engine guru to come along.

Apart from the PAS whine, the 'clacking' noise when you bring the throttle on sounds abnormal - have it checked out asap.

It's very hard to tell from videos as engines sound terrible even when they're not. I'd hazard a guess at the bottom end knocking going by what car it is and the sound.

What happened to your UK car? Hope you've still got that too!

Has that car been plasti-dipped or something?

First instinct was to say valve head but that would cause a drop in compression but shape looks too odd for a valve head, has the engine been tested for compression and leak down?
