Hi everyone, I'm looking to purchase a Blob eye WRX, and I have seen quite a few. There is one that looks really clean, but there's just one problem. There is some duct tape on the connection just under the intercooler on the BOV (?) I'm not 100% clued up on these cars so I would be greatful if someone could tell me if this is something serious/ expensive to sort or quite easy.

looks like they have had a leak on the vacuum hose for the dump valve and have taped it up. Very cheap and easy to replace just buy a length of vacuum hose long enough and replace it. Doubt it will cost you £5.

The only thing I would add is that I am pretty sure it isn't routed correctly but that could be addressed when it is replaced

It looks to me like he's been changing hoses and has put bits of tape on to note which goes where. If you look closely you can see tape on a few other pipes as well, behind the top mount and over near the boost solenoid.
