Default can I still drive my scooby with this ?

Hi all,

Ironically I was working on her today to tighten the belt as she has been squeaking when turning sharply. I removed the cover to find this.

Can I still driver her this week or is it straight to the garage asap?

They aren't dear and are easy enough to repair.

these belts cost no more than a couple of quid! go to you local motor factors and get one instead risking it.

Sorry guys just to clarify it was never my intention to leave it, more a case of should I drive it to the motor factors to get one or get a lift.

The worst that will happen if it snaps is you will loose the power steering, the air con wont work and the battery will go flat.

As said wont cost a lot for a new one and easy enough to fit.

Get a new belt man, they cost about £10 and take 5 minutes to change!

Yes drive to your local motor factors. The belt will be fine and just change the belt in there car park.

Mine was like this when it started squeaking.

Had to unpick the other half from the back of one of the fans!
You could take the opportunity to grab a couple of orange belts from cdf.
