Hi, can anyone advise me an engine light issue? I have a 97 type r, the car seems to be running fine, however I seem to get a check engine light if I drive down steep hills, the light will then turn off if I start to ascend or drive on the level for a while. Can anyone help please?

Just pull the fault code with the connectors under dash, google is ur friend

 

or drive a different way round
