Default North Weald Drag Strip - TD04 runs 12.7 @ 110mph!

MY99 UK 'circuit spec' wagon, standard engine, turbo and ECU (mapped with Launch Control) and MY04 WRX TMIC.

1st run 12.86 @ 104mph
2nd run 12.84 @ 107mph
3rd run 12.72 @ 110mph

Great Fathers Day outing and some very very nice yank motors out today along with a few Scoobs. Favourite run was my second (12.84) trying my luck with a fast GTO, not my quickest but nice to have something to really try with

Link to the 12.84 run is here...........

Well done to MJC who finally managed to sort his grip issues out and post a 13.1 run in his Hawkeye WRX. With a bit of weight loss a 12 is on the cards for July

Thats awesome times for the little TD04, the early spool up is not to be underestimated. Makes you wonder if a turbo swap is worth it in every day driving conditions.

Mo I have edited the above post due to the fact you are no longer an authorised advertiser on this site and where it may be accetable to say thank you to a company that you have had services from it is not ok to promote your own company for work carried out on your own car as if it was a third party.

Well that didn't take long for someone to put their nose in now did it (Not directed at you SSS)

Sunoco provided me with a product to use for this event with the proviso that should I be happy with it, I make reference to their brand in any material related to the event and the cars performance.

EcuLabs provided me with a product to use for this event with the proviso that should I be happy with it, I make reference to their brand in any material related to the event and the cars performance.

Unless I'm reading this wrong this is 'within' Scoobynet rules

OK, I made an error of judgement choosing to mention those two words, I accept that but one of the main reasons for choosing not to advertise on Scoobynet was the lack of consistency in it's moderation relating to advertising or promotion. At the time I was paid up there were many posting about their own business and many others with signatures promoting their own company or brand. I have rarely visited here over the last few years but when I have I still see non paying advertisers clearly promoting their own brand in some way, shape, or form.
We're not talking about a couple of quid here, the money I've invested into advertising on here has been fairly significant, although Branson may disagree(!). If it were fairly applied throughout then great and I'd be happy to pay to promote those two words within here but when it continues to apply moreso to some than others then I'll give it a miss and just be a little more careful in what I post.

Yay,well done Zak, should be having my UK99 mapped soon with VF35,550 injectors,STI8 TMIC,oil cooler, airbox "bladderectomy" plus K&N panel filter. Only problem is I would have been
happy with a high 12 before, now having watched you on Sunday its gotta be low 12s to keep face/streetcred (allright what streetcred )

Cheers, John (12.2/107 totally standard (apart from K&N) Honda Hornet 600)
This driver/rider needs LUNCH CONTROL fattus gittus!
Should have refused Lennys offer of Chocolate cake but it was delish !!!
