ESOC Brighton Run
Saturday 1st June 2013
Leaving Lakeside services 9am
Hi all, I've decided to organise this run down to Brighton, as i was planning to go down to Brighton on this day anyway for a day out
Weather permitting thou ! If it's raining on the day, then i won't go, as there's no point
If anyone wants to tag along, your more than welcome to join the convoy down
****** The plan for the days events ******
Leave Lakeside services at 9am
M25 > M23 > A23 to Brighton
I will be taking a little detour into Brighton through Devils Dyke Rd
A fantastic little road, 2.5 miles long with stunning views, and no speed cameras
Arrive at Brighton at approx 11am to park up in the :-
Churchill Square car park
Cannon Place
East Sussex
Brighton BN1 2FD
Drive right up to the top level of car park and park up.
Warning ! Car Park at Brighton will cost £25
But that is the normal summertime charges of most Brighton car parks
Mill around ... Do whatever in Brighton that takes your fancy, Beech / Shops / Sights
Then at 6pm i'll be leaving Brighton to head back to Essex
****** For those of you who are up for it ******
We'll be able to make it back in time for the meet up at Tesco's car park for 7.30 - 8pm for the Southend Run
I'll post up routes at a later date

As a matter of interest, it's the London to Brighton Mini run on Sunday. Absolutely brilliant day with unbelievable number of Minis completely filling the Madiera Drive.
I should be going to this as my sons partner, Clare has a very nice classic shape Cooper.

the run through devils dyke was spot on , the run into Brighton after that was smooth , no traffic , just a shame that more didn't join in

Yes was a real shame Ron as usual put hard work into organising this 
and as he said was a great drive down there, but would have been nicer had there been more of us
