Nearly there


Just to recap the main points :

Will be leaving Thurrock Services at 9pm - there is a strict policy on 2 hr parking only, so try not to get there before 7.15/7.30pm so no-one gets done for a £10 parking fee as I expect it will take 15 mins or so for us all to get out of the car park.

New route this year so be sure to check out Ron's carefully crafted route details, which can be downloaded to Tomtom, Garmin etc.

The charity is the Burned Children's Club, which is based in Basildon, all proceeds from sale of stickers (£5 each) will go to this charity, will also be some buckets going around if anyone has any loose change etc to donate, which is of course an entirely voluntary contribution. Last year we raised just over £1000 for Basildon Special Care Baby Unit, I think we are all feeling the pinch this year, but it would be nice to get something near that amount raised

I will be selling stickers from my car (black blob F3 WRX) which will be parked near the car park entrance. Will also have some stickers from last year as I think some people still wanted them; will be selling those for £2.

Limehouse Link speed flash cameras at start, middle, and end of tunnel !!

I got flashed at 36 Mph

Just gotta await my £60 fine and another 3 points on the licence


Rotherhithe tunnel - Average speed cameras at 20Mph

Blackwall Tunnel , It said 30 on the LED signs , But ppl were bombing past me at about 50 mph ! I didn't see any Flash or average speed cameras !

The McDonalds car park for the 1st re-group is BIG !

We must leave at 11pm !!!! As i found out that muse are playing at the O2 at that will be emptying out at 11.30pm !

Steering rack is being rebuilt. It's a spec c quick rack and the parts are like hens teeth. If I get it back then I can refit it in no time.

Sorry mate, my car isn't likely to be there.
