Question Club Merchandise

In talks at the mo with this company about sorting out the ESC pink shirts again ...... PLUS MORE

Have a look at the merchandise surreyscoobies have from this company

http://www.bigboolies.com/default.cfm?ownersclub

password = surrey09

The best thing about this is , there's no need to gather / organise group buys for the shirts , no worrying about having to meet up with ppl to give them the shirts that they've ordered !

You just log on , choose what you want , pay with credit / debit card or paypal

Wait 7-10 days for your item to be delivered to your home

There is debate over keeping the same original logo or having a new logo and changing the name of the club

POLL ON NAME CHANGE HERE .........................

https://www.scoobynet.com/essex-scoo...club-name.html

Suggested shirt options

Pink shirt , Yellow stitching

Blue shirt , White / Pink stitching

Black shirt , White / Pink stiching

Well battle out the change of name first

Design of new logo can be thrashed out later

If you would like to submit a Logo design to this thread for consideration in a future poll on a new logo .

REMEMBER !

Keep it simple ! Nothing too complex ! As most of the logos will be stitched onto the available clothing NOT printed !

And if the logo is very complex to stitch , it will put the cost of the clothing up

I like the last logo, pink looks good on a Ralph Lauren or Lyle and Scott not a Fruit on the Loom so blue or black gets my vote lol.

Also Crew vs Club is tricky I think we all agree Club is less (insert Essex boy, chavy, reem, Max Power, cruising) plus does not make it sound like a place for kids upgrading from a 106... but its been Crew for so many years. The address is www.essexscoobycrew.co.uk, unless someone can buy the web address from SN and change it that way, I say stick with Crew.

I like logo 1 or 3.

Am also in favour of club rather than crew. Although, as has been mentioned it was originally crew so would it be acceptable to change it?

Suppose I've been a great help lol

Is the domain essexscoobyclub.co.uk available?

Buy that and change dns to point here, then ask SN to change forum name?

Original logo is fine, range of colours is cool, maybe offer colours with pink stitching? Definitely club over crew for me.

Agree, I also think the word "Scooby" when talking about subarus sounds proper sh1te. Almost a gay as crew.

If you're gonna change the domain name (which I think is a great idea)

Essex Subaru Owners Club
Essex Subaru Drivers Club
?

Any thoughts?

Did anything ever happen with the Impreza outline logo?

I've recently had some if my own tshirts made this I did the artwork for. I did the outline of my own car.

Here are some examples

Probably best to stay within the limits of E.S.C don't you think ?

Essex Subaru Club
Essex Subaru Crew
Essex Scooby Club
Essex Scooby Crew

Otherwise well become ESOC or ESDC

This club is famous for being ESC

Put it to a vote Ron

In all honesty, 90% of the members of the original ESC are no longer here. So to me it no longer matters. If you're going to start something with a fresh face then I think it's a positive thing to change the name and make it what you want it to be.
If people vote ESC then so be it. It was always a club run for the members by the members. So I think the members as it is now should decide what they want it to be.

Does anyone else have an opinion?

I think you right fraz. Starting fresh would be a good idea. Thing is people don't like change and the name of the ESC has been about years! I remember reading bout the club in max power when I was a kid haha.

I think going to the Essex Subaru Club is a great idea and getting a new www. is the way forward maybe do what another guy on here did n use the site to show members cars and links to web pages of interest... including to the scoobynet forums. Not to difficult to set up and maintain just needs someone to kick it into action.

I actually like the sound of the ESOC or ESDC. Sounds more professional and a good step away from the boy racer chavvy image that I believe the club needs to be taken away from.

I've been part of the ESC for a long long time now. It's nothing like it was and never will be. That's not to say it's worse now, it's different

So if its different, we all want it to be different...
Why hold on to the same handle? Lol

If i'm honest I have to agree with Subaru over scooby, thought I'd appear knit picking by saying change that and crew to club but I think it gives an enhanced image.

I like ESC, so Essex Subaru Club gets my vote plus poor Jas will have to change his number plate if it was anything else

I am 100% with frayz.

If keeping ESC then Essex Subaru Club is the best one.

I like Essex Subaru Owners Club the most though.

I think we should we also steal frayz design and for the car outline, with E.S.O.C under it.... Username on the back and something else for the sleeve if needed at all.
